Tote Bag

Hey Sifa here. Today i'm going to post about tote bags.

We a making tote bags for the gala day and making money for the junior's play ground. Here a the steps to make a tote bags.

Step 1. Get two pieces of fabric or two pieces of calico. when u have the fabric  cut the fabric in two's.

Step 2. Get pins and pin the side and the bottom.

Step 3. when u finish pining the sides and the bottom go on a sewing machine and sew the side and the bottom but make sure u take off the pins before u sew.

Step 4. when u finish sewing iron the the middle of the fabric and then u fold the top. And u iron the top and then u sew around the top and then iron the top again and then fold the top again and go  to the sewing machine and sew around the top again. 

Step 5. when u finish sewing the top u have to get handles from the shops and then u pin the handles on the top of your bag and then u sew the handles when u finish ping the handles to your bag. 

       it was hard to make the bag because when we were sewing it          was going really fast.   
     

book review

Malo lelei blogging world. Last week we had to do a slide show of the book we had from Ms Sands. and the books name was the Magic Finger. The first thing we had to do was read our book, Then we had to summarise the story by begging, middle and end.
and then we had too write our  favourite part of the story and my favourite part was when four ducks came to kill Mr and Mrs Gregg. Mr Gregg and Mrs Gregg just ran up to all of the ducks beat up all of the ducks and then the ducks die. Then Mr Gregg and Mrs Gregg went to dig a big hole to bury the four ducks inside to get rid of them. If you want to find out more check out my slide show below.

Cross country

Malo lelei blogging world. today i'm going to blog about cross country. Two days ago we did cross country and country was very hard because I got heaps of stiches when i was running and it hurt. I came 3rd place Isaiah came 2nd and Max came 1st. When we were not running I was the leader at the Rauko Sticks. Every year six had to be a leader at the different activity I think i did a really good job. Well Mr Ross said that i did. Below are some of the photos from cross country.

Crazy Science

Malo lelei blogging world. It's me Sifa. Today we went to a science show. The person's name was Richard and Richards DJ name was Robyn. I learnt heaps of science work. I learnt that water is the  only substance on Earth that exist in gas , liquid and solid. I got surprised when Richards had the red balls in his mouth. I learnt that inside a nappy is a  powder chemical A polymer which turns liquid into solid. My favourite part was when he made different size bubbles. I wonder if Richard can do bigger and amazing tricks.

CAMP SLIDE

Hi, Sifa here. Last week we went to camp. 

On the first day of camp we went to Hamilton gardens to have morning tea and we also had a scavenger hunt . 

Then we went to Otorohanga for lunch and walked the Sir Ed Hilary walkway so we can find some information about new Zealand.

 After ed Hilary walk we got in to the bus and had a 1 hour sleep to Taumaranui Primary School. 

After we left the the school and went to The Park hotels. When we got to the hotels we had to to go to our rooms and see if our gears a ready for the next day.

 After cleaning our rooms and sorting bags out. we had to go to dinner. For dinner we had lasagna rice and curry the desert was cream with chocolate brownie.


 when we finish our dinner we went back to our rooms and put warm clothes on because we were going for a walk when we went  for a walk we stopped at a park so we can play. after the park we walked back to our hotels because we had to go shower and we had to go sleep before 10 clock.

 On the next day we went skiing. on the first day of ski we had to go to happy valley because we had to learn how to ski. And then on the next we had to go sking a again and i got to go to rock garden and when i went to rock garden i jump high rocks and going near cliffs. When I first went skiing at rock garden it was scary when I went on the second time I wasn't  scary It was so much fun and i learnt so much.   Above are my camp Slides about my fun trip. 

Taekwondo

On Thursday we did Taekwondo. The first thing we did was relays, after the relays we did a kicking competition and i did pretty good but i did't come first. During the kicking exercises we had to kick the pads with the ball of my feet. I have learnt lots about Taekwondo like how to do crunches and how to be more disciplined.I really enjoy Taekwondo.

math task

Hi guys Sifa here. Yesterday in Maths we were making tents. We were making the tent with cardboard, Tooth picks, And clay.
It was hard to make the tent because the clay wasn't sticky and the toothpick was break in to half. How i solved this was putting more clay on the tooth pick where they joined to the clay. The fun thing is that i made a tent in one day in maths. The shapes i made was square and a triangle. It was fun making the tent because it was my first time making a tent with card board tooth pick and clay. This is a photo of my tent that i made. Please comment. God bless.
